Time to Dance - Dance to Time was a COVID-19 Lockdown project setting out with the ambition to write some tunes in different time signatures as a challenge for step dancers.

These original compositions have been brought to life by the fantastic contributions of Adam Sutherland and Marc Clement. Adam has provided fiddle to all tracks and Marc has contributed various instruments, edited and mixed the collection. A HUGE thank you to them both - I am very appreciative of all their creative contributions.

Thanks also to Petra Louis for her enthusiastic encouragement to produce these tunes and for her artistic advice, including graphics, cover content and photography.

Donald Macphee Insch, UK

Donald played mandolin with Cannach, an Aberdeen-based band, from the 1990s, performing traditional and original sets with new, energetic arrangements at various venues and festivals and in studio sessions for radio and TV. They released ‘The Moons of Glenloy’ (KRL Lochshore) in 1997. Donald has since continued to compose and has performed occasionally with other musicians at various local events. ... more
